If you are a fan of flight simulation games, you might have heard of FS2004 – TropicalSim – Rio De Janeiro Galeao Intl’ v1.1, a realistic and detailed add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 that features the second largest airport in Brazil and one of the busiest in South America[^2^]. This add-on offers stunning scenery, accurate runway layout, dynamic lighting, animated jetways, custom buildings, and more[^3^]. But what if you want to spice up your flying experience with some cheats? In this article, we will show you how to cheat in FS2004 – TropicalSim – Rio De Janeiro Galeao Intl’ v1.1 and have some fun.

Before we begin, you need to have FS2004 – TropicalSim – Rio De Janeiro Galeao Intl’ v1.1 installed on your computer. You can buy it from SimMarket for $24.90 or download it from SoundCloud for free[^2^]. You also need to have a cheat engine program such as Cheat Engine or ArtMoney. These programs allow you to modify the values of memory addresses in the game and change various parameters such as speed, altitude, fuel, etc.

Once you have everything ready, launch FS2004 and load the Rio De Janeiro Galeao Intl’ airport. Then, launch your cheat engine program and attach it to the FS9.exe process. You can do this by clicking on the computer icon on the top left corner of the cheat engine window and selecting FS9.exe from the list of processes. Alternatively, you can use the hotkey Ctrl+Alt+A to open the process list and select FS9.exe.

Now that you have attached your cheat engine to the game, you can start cheating. Here are some examples of cheats that you can try:

  • Infinite Fuel: To cheat your fuel level, you need to find the memory address that stores the value of your fuel quantity. You can do this by using the scan function of your cheat engine. First, select 4 bytes as the value type and enter your current fuel quantity in kilograms as the value. For example, if you have 5000 kg of fuel, enter 5000 as the value. Then, click on First Scan and wait for the results. You should see a list of memory addresses on the left panel of the cheat engine window. Next, go back to FS2004 and change your fuel quantity by using the Shift+F4 or Shift+F3 keys. Then, go back to your cheat engine and enter your new fuel quantity as the value and click on Next Scan. Repeat this process until you find one or a few memory addresses that match your fuel quantity. Select them and add them to the address list by clicking on the red arrow button. Then, double-click on the value column of each address and change it to a large number such as 9999999. This will give you infinite fuel in FS2004.
  • Super Speed: To cheat your speed, you need to find the memory address that stores the value of your indicated airspeed (IAS) in knots. You can do this by using the same scan method as above, but with a different value type and value. Select Float as the value type and enter your current IAS in knots as the value. For example, if you are flying at 250 knots, enter 250 as the value. Then, click on First Scan and wait for the results. Next, go back to FS2004 and change your speed by using the F2 or F3 keys or by changing your throttle position. Then, go back to your cheat engine and enter your new IAS as the value and click on Next Scan. Repeat this process until you find one or a few memory addresses that match your IAS. Select them and add them to the address list by clicking on the red arrow button. Then, double-click on the value column of each address and change it to a high number such as 9999. This will make you fly at super speed in FS2004.
  • No Gravity: To cheat gravity, you need to find the memory address that stores the value of your vertical speed
