Taylor Russo is a professional tennis player from the United States who has been making waves in the WTA circuit. She was born on June 8, 1999 in Moscow, Russia and grew up in St. Petersburg, Russia. She moved to the US with her family when she was 10 years old and started playing tennis at the age of 12. She has an identical twin sister, Tati Russo, who is also a tennis player.

Taylor Russo turned pro in 2017 and has been climbing the rankings ever since. She has won four ITF singles titles and two ITF doubles titles so far in her career. She also reached the semifinals of the $25,000 event in Tyler, Texas, where she lost to eventual champion Coco Gauff. She ended the year with a singles record of 18-9 and a doubles record of 10-7.

In 2021, Taylor Russo continued her upward trajectory and achieved some impressive results. She won her second and third ITF singles titles at the $25,000 events in Boca Raton, Florida and Fayetteville, Arkansas. She also won her second ITF doubles title at the $25,000 event in Fayetteville, Arkansas, again with her sister Tati Russo. She qualified for her first WTA main draw at the Silicon Valley Classic in San Jose, California, where she lost to world No. 14 Elena Rybakina in the first round. She also qualified for her first WTA 1000 main draw at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California, where she lost to world No. 18 Paula Badosa in the first round.
